A brief overview of ATS and their benefits in company hiring process.

Do you find it challenging to find suitable employees?
New technology and the increasing complexity of the job market make it a slow and arduous process. And the fast pace of life today does not make it any easier.

Ensuring that the best candidates get the opportunity to show their capabilities is vital for any business that wants to remain competitive.
However, top companies might receive hundreds or even thousands of applications for any job opening, and sorting through all of them is often time and cost-consuming.

That's where the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) come in.

An ATS is a software application that helps you handle recruitment and hiring needs. It is a priceless recruitment tool for any HR department because it can execute routine tasks, saving time and money. In other words, ATS is a candidate relationship management software.

They can:
- filter through the vast amount of information from all the candidates using keyword searches
- keep track of all the suitable applicants
- keep track of all stages of the hiring process for each candidate

Interestingly, 99% of the Fortune 500 companies use some kind of ATS for their recruitment purposes.

ATS can help you filter out unsuitable resumes from the hiring process. They also keep all the resumes in an archive that is always available to you. That way, when a new job opening arrives, you can look at previously rejected candidates again. But most importantly, they help reduce the paperwork and cost of the entire hiring process.

Being automated, the candidate management system might remove potentially great applicants simply because their resume is not compatible with the ATS. It might also incorrectly filter some resumes due to more complex writing that the filter did not anticipate. No matter how advanced, the software is never perfect at adapting any material that differs from the standard.

This has led to the appearance of many guides on how to "beat" the ATS. Such guides are supposed to help applicants pass through the selection process. However, when such a thing is necessary, it becomes evident that something is wrong. The ATS is no longer used to find the most suitable candidate but those who know all the keywords. This, of course, means that some people are just out of luck and that the employer might be missing out on some promising candidates.

Roango contains tools for the entire hiring process, not just ATS. Candidates can apply for jobs using their Roango profiles, and the applications are filtered by the Roango ATS. That way, every resume is well suited for the ATS, minimizing the chance for mistakes.
We ensure the best opportunity for our customers to find suitable employees, and of course, for those employees to find the right job.

This also makes the ability to "beat" the ATS obsolete. Everyone's CV is already designed to be ATS friendly, making it a level playing field, where only the qualifications matter, once again.

With the rapid growth in the workforce, sorting the applicant stream by human hand is quickly becoming inefficient. Therefore, HR hiring tools such as ATS are becoming essential and unavoidable, but it is vital to find the right tool for the job.

ATS can speed up the hiring process, reduce cost per hire, improve the quality of matches, make the recruitment experience easier for both the talent and company, and even help improve the company image through a strong selection of new employees.
And when you need to use such tools, you might as well use the best one out there.

We spend one-third of our lives at work. Make it matter.
